The Online Destination Management Platform (DMS) is an online system for the Northern Regions of Armenia, which helps provide tourists with the opportunity to plan their tours, and deliver excellent experiences in Shirak, Lori և Tavush.
The main purpose of the DMS trip planner is to present everything about the destination in one place – places you can go, things you can see and do, as well as information on the service providers.
Thus, the platform will unite all main players and will become an online tool through which it will be possible to effectively use all the tourism resources of the destination. The platform will help increase the competitiveness of the region, ensure a steady flow of tourists and generate interest towards the destination.
The DMS platform will help collect and present information about all the sights, experiences, food, accommodation, guides, tour operators, transport and other services in one place. This platform is a very important factor for the Northern regions of Armenia as a tourist destination, as it includes different types of complementary, interconnected and cooperating organizations. All these organizations jointly provide the best tourist experience in the region.
Here are some of the advantages of DMS platform:
• Supports the development and management of the Northern Region of Armenia as a unique tourism destination.
• Promotes cooperation between all actors in the tourism industry.
• Facilitates the process of creating a variety of experiences for tourists.
• Allows tourists to create and maintain 1-2-day tours, cultural, hiking, adventure և other types of events and programs that tourists can adapt to their needs and their schedule.
The role of the DMS platform is crucial for bringing together all stakeholders in the tourism industry.
